Gallery 1313 consists of three exhibition spaces. The large main space is approximately 1300 sq. ft. in size with fourteen-foot high ceilings and halogen lighting. The double doors and courtyard make for a welcoming entrance to this wonderful exhibition facility. The Process Gallery has 33 ft. of wall space for rental shows and the more intimate, Members' Gallery is dedicated to the exhibition of PVAC members' art works. Gallery 1313 also has a Window Box space (H-66.5"xW-25"xD-22") facing the courtyard that is usually used for installation works.
Works of art displayed in the gallery are insured against damage and theft.
Gallery 1313 welcomes proposals from collectives, artist groups and individual artists. Until programme funding becomes available, the gallery charges a rental fee. Most shows run for two weeks but longer or shorter shows may be arranged depending on the schedule. The gallery also encourages artists and art groups to seek out project grants from the various government and art funding agencies to cover all or some their costs. The gallery does not take a commission for sales of art work.
Artists showing at the gallery are expected to assist in sitting the show.
